Our publications in journals indexed in SCI/SSCI

In 2021, our Faculty academics published a total of 192 (Q1:111, Q2:58, Q3:13, Q4:1) articles in journals indexed in SCI/SSCI. Of these, 4 were in the 1% part, and 45 were in the 10% part.

Silver Medal Award at Istanbul International Invention Fair (ISIF) 2021

Prof. Dr. Nabi YÜZER and Dr. Didem OKTAY received the silver medal at ISIF 2021 with their invention titled Prepared Injection Material Production Method Containing Nano Hydraulics.

Appointment to Head of Environmental Engineering Department

Prof. Dr. Güleda ENGİN was reappointed as the Head of Environmental Engineering Department on 30 November 2021.

III. Shelter Workshop was held by our Dean moderation

The last of the series of workshops within the scope of the national shelter policy development project was held on 25-27 October 2021 by under the moderation of our Dean Prof.Dr. Şükrü Ersoy.

Our project will be supported in the TUBITAK Earthquake Research Special Call.

The project titled "Modelling the Progression of Tsunami Waves in Rivers" proposed by Assoc. Dr. Havva Anil GUNER will be supported by TÜBİTAK within the scope of the Special Call for Earthquake Research.

Safe Scaffolding for Safe Life seminar was held at our Faculty.

Within the scope of the Safe Life Safe Scaffolding EU grant project carried out by the Scaffolding and Formwork Indust. Assoc., a seminar was held at the our Faculty Conference Hall on 19 Nov. 2021 under the leadership of YTU Society of Construction.

Students of the Republic of Kazakhstan Al-Farabi Kazakh National University completed their short-term education.

Students from the Republic of Kazakhstan Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were introduced to the Departments of Geomatic Engineering and Environmental Engineering. Training was given on Remote Sensing, GNSS, Cartography, GIS and Air Pollution.

Our project was supported by TÜBİTAK 1512 BiGG - Entrepreneurship Support Program.

Research Assistant Mert GÜRTÜRK's “Demonstrative herd UAV System and Software” project was supported within the scope of the Entrepreneurship Support Program 2020-2 call.

Prof. Dr. Mücteba UYSAL from Civil Engineering Department was included in the 2% citation range in Elsevier database after academicians from Environmental Engineering Department, Prof. Kaan YETİLMEZSOY and Prof. Dr. Bestami ÖZKAYA.
