SimULab has been active since 2008 and was mainly established for the development of unmanned and flight simulation systems. Over the years, undergraduate - graduate level projects have been carried out. Main goal is to elevate the awareness to such systems nationally and to produce international research projects and publications.

Biomechatronics Research Group has highly experienced researchers in rehabilitation robots and medical devices. The projects of our group are about rehabilitation robots, assistive exoskeleton mechanisms, artificial intelligence, pulmonary function measurement systems, medical ventilators, and medical image analysis for lung images. We are a team that produces datasets and software libraries, doing practical and theoretical studies on text classification / clustering, author recognition, automatic question answering, semantics, speech processing, life science databases, text compression, text summarization, sentiment analysis in the field of Turkish natural language processing.

We are working with a small team of researchers who are trying to determine the extent of microplastics (MP) pollution in Istanbul's coastal waters. We completed a few projects on the determination and identification of MPs in natural and engineered systems. One of our latest projects is on the determination of MPs in Antarctica which is supported by TUBITAK.

Biomechatronics is an interdisciplinary science which aims to realize a computer controlled system including a mechanism, electronics, mechanical and biological sensors in order to therapy and augmentation of human body. Biomechatronics includes the aspects of biology,mechanics, and electronics.

CMRG is an active research group working on waste material utilization, alkali-activated materials, phase change materials, alternative binders, cementitious materials, and others. Our research group investigates mainly the hydration behavior, rheological properties, thermal properties, physical and mechanical properties, microstructural properties, and durability of materials.

The main purpose of The Analaysis Research Group, which was established in 2021, is to examine the transformation of the whole theory of time dependent evolution equations within the framework of Feynman Operator Theory and to extend it to application areas such as time dependent stochastic evolution equations or control systems.

This working group explores what those objects associated with migration in the Mediterranean space can tell us about the material culture of mobility, but also the emotional histories of the movement of people(s).

Our Research Group works on the design and implementation of smart systems. Undergraduate and graduate students take part in R&D projects in the group, which was founded in 2011 by Yıldız Technical University Computer Engineering academicians.

The Acoustic Metamaterials Research Group (AMAG) conducts scientific studies on acoustic metasurfaces and metamaterials. These unusual materials not found in nature provide exceptional acoustic performances such as acoustic cloaking, focusing, negative reflection and transmission.

Our group consists of Yildiz Technical University Computer Engineering department academics and students working on probabilistic robotics. Our work started in 2006 and focused on virtual and real search and rescue robots. Our team has been competing in search and rescue leagues in international RoboCup Olympics since 2010.

H2TEM focused on hydrogen production, synthesis of hydrogen storage medium, and application of catalytic systems. H2TEM also cooperated with Energy and Material laboratory (EML): In H2TEM, various kinds of nano-sized materials in the form of particles, fibers etc. can be specifically synthesized by nanotechnologies methods.

In our group, various processes and products are evaluated with the life cycle system.

Yıldız Technical University Biotechnology Laboratory continues its theoretical and practical research in the field of biotechnology within the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department of our university.

Welcome to the Yüce Research Group. This group is a part of the Department of Mathematics at Yildiz Technical University and led by Prof. Dr. Salim Yüce. The main objective of this group is to concentrate on some open problems in fields of geometry and all interdisciplinary areas in Mathematics which use geometric methods and investigate geometrical structures.

Our research group deals with method development for the determination of organic/inorganic analytes at trace levels using different instrumentation and sample preparation methods. Microextraction, derivatization, metal speciation, hydride generation systems, atom trapping studies, and waste water treatment strategies are some of the topics we are interested in.

Together with our group members, we have been working in the field of organic chemistry for more than two years. We currently have approximately 40 group members.

Erdoğmuş research group, led by Prof. Dr. Ali ERDOĞMUŞ, mostly studies on the design, synthesis and molecular characterization of Phthalocyanine and BODIPY derivatives. The primary aim of our group is to focus on photodynamic therapy and sonophotodynamic therapy applications of these extraordinary compounds, which stand out with their photophysical, photochemical and photo-sonochemical properties for cancer therapy.
